Matina is an elegant 15 hand, big-bodied, 11 y/o lipizzan mare. She is by Maestoso Amata II, a Rafflyn bred sire, out of a daughter of Conversano II Erica, a known producer of dressage show horses.
Matina has produced 3 babies who have won firsts, high point awards, and championships at several shows. She is a sweet mare who meets you at the gate and stands quietly for grooming, trimming, and mounting. Totally sound and healthy, she is easy to foal and a wonderful mother.
Under saddle, she is easy and fun to ride. She is experienced and calm on trail, but loves to show off her big trot at clinics, and is ready to show training/first level dressage. She is suitable for an intermediate young rider, and would also make a good school horse.
