Faye is a talented horse that will make someone a great show horse for eventing, dressage, or jumpers. She loves to jump and has great scope and she also has beautiful gaits and a gorgeous floating trot. I bought her to train for eventing last year but since then started a horse business and I can’t afford to have a horse that isn’t pulling their weight by doing lessons. I paid $15,000 for this horse and have put over a year’s training into her with some showing. But since I need to sell her as quickly as possible I am willing to consider any reasonable offer.
Faye does leg yielding at the walk and we have started on simple lead changes. She loves to jump and is a bold jumper. She has done a course of 2'3" easily. She also has free jumped a 3'3"-3'9" oxer with a 5' spread and she wasn't even trying.
I have not taken her to a horse trial yet but I competed her in a Combined Test at intro level. She had a nice relaxed dressage test and went clean stadium. She placed fourth. I also competed her in the Intro test B dressage test where she put in another great dressage test to take second place. This year I took her to an open show where she placed in every class taking 3 seconds and 2 thirds. Also she did both Intro dressage tests at Chemung County Fair where she started off a little nervous in the first test because of all the commotion going on. But by the second test she settled down and put in a very relaxed and balanced test. The showing experience that I did with her this year was aimed to build her confidence, and try to keep her relaxed and focused. If I was able to keep her next year I was going to start eventing her.
Although Faye has come a long way in her training she is still a green horse and occasionally gets nervous so she needs a confident experienced rider to continue and finish her training.
Again I really need to sell her as quickly as possible so make me an offer.
